Renegade Media’s pioneering work has been recognised at an awards ceremony in its Gloucestershire region. We scooped the Small Business of the Year award at the event, organised by newspaper group, Gloucestershire Media and the Forester newspaper.

Founder and chief executive Mark Terry-Lush was also named runner up in the Businessman of the Year category. The ceremony, which took place at Forest Hills Golf Club in the Forest of Dean, was attended by the entire team.

Renegade, whose work for brands including Converse, Eurosport, Mitsubishi, MINI, and Sony Ericsson, plus four of the world’s leading advertising agencies including Holland’s Amsterdam Worldwide, Sweden’s Perfect Fools, and China’s Dynamic Marketing Group, beat off competition from dozens of companies in the first awards of its kind in the county.

In honouring their work, the judges said: “Renegade Media recently made local, national and international news with its elaborate April 1 spoof, ‘Publicitair – the world’s first free airline.’ They have established a high-profile customer base and are a business which is going places.”

Mark Terry-Lush said: “This award is recognition for our team, which is based across three continents. We pride ourselves on being entrepreneurial and innovative, and our approach has helped our clients achieve all their goals.”

Renegade is actively seeking two appointments to beef up its rapidly growing digital public relations and social media teams.

In November, Renegade Media won Best Use of Digital in the South West Business Awards.
